Evergreen LA Online Giving through the Church Center Giving Portal accepts direct payments from a personal checking or savings account. Credit cards and Apple Pay are also accepted.

New Giving Portal FAQs

• How do I log in to the new giving portal?  Open the giving portal, then click on “Log In” in the top right corner of the page. Church Center uses passwordless login, which is more secure than a traditional username and password combination. Enter your phone number or email address, and you will receive a one-time code that you can use to log in.
  
• What if I had a recurring donation set up previously?  Prior to June 4, 2024, EBCLA was using Fellowship One to manage our online giving. If you had set up a recurring donation through Fellowship One, you will need to cancel it and recreate it in Church Center. Follow the instructions below, or watch this video to see the process step by step.
  • To cancel a recurring gift in Fellowship One:
    • Log in to the Fellowship One portal. If you for forgot your username and/or password, click here and follow the instructions.
    • Click the big “+ Give” button.
    • Click the “Scheduled” tab. You will see a list of your scheduled gifts.
    • Click on the trash bin icon to delete each recurring gift.
  •  To create a recurring gift in Church Center:
    • Log in to the new Church Center portal.
    • Under “Frequency,” select “Regularly” and choose a schedule.
    • Click “Add Payment Method” and enter your payment method into the secure portal.
    • Click the “Start giving” button at the bottom of the page.
    • Click on your initials in the top right corner, click “My profile & settings,” and ensure your phone number, email address, and mailing address are correct. This will ensure that you receive your annual statement.
• That’s confusing. Can you help?  Yes! Contact our technical director, Mitch, at mitch@ebcla.org and we can set up a phone call to walk you through it.
• Can I see my old giving history?  Yes, we have migrated all gifts from 2019 onward to Church Center and you should see them in your account. If you don’t see them, contact mitch@ebcla.org. If you need giving history from prior to 2019, contact the church office.

Online Giving FAQs

• Will I get a donor statement for tax purposes?  We send annual statements to each donor at the end of the year. Please make sure your contact information is up to date in Church Center to ensure you receive it. Log in to the portal, then click on your initials at the top right of the page. Then select “My profile & settings” and update your phone number, email address, and mailing address.
• Can I designate my donation? Yes. Contributions can be directed to a particular fund (for example, General, Sedaqah, Building, or Missions Fund).
• Can I determine the frequency of my contribution? Yes. You can make either a one-time gift or schedule a regular gift (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). You can modify or cancel scheduled contributions any time prior to the designated transaction date. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
• How can I be assured of the privacy and security of my personal information? We have taken steps to maximize the security of financial transactions that are accepted on our website. Credit card and bank account processing is accomplished using secure processing services. Your entry of this information is encrypted and scrambled when transmitted. We will never sell your information or disclose it to third parties without your permission.
• What can I do after I create a Church Center account?
  • Make secure online contributions (no need to re-enter your personal information each time you give).
  • View your giving history (please allow up to five business days for your giving history to be updated).
  • Update your personal information (such as phone number, email address, and mailing address).
  • Access and print tax-related information and annual giving statement.
  • Register for upcoming Evergreen events, classes, and groups.

The online giving registration form requires personal contact information (name, address), and demographic information (date of birth). Evergreen LA will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. This information is stored in your file in a secure environment separate from our website.
